Traveling within Nepal
Bus - You can travel by bus throughout country. Tourist buses are more expensive then local buses. But local buses consume much time and it is better to opt for the former one.
Cab - You can get cabs throughout the country. Try to get a meter taxi or carry a map with you so that you can calculate the distance you will or have travel(ed). The standard rate of a taxi. Starting Rs 8 and per 200 meters Rs 3.50. Don't get fleeced by rigmaroles from the professional chauffeurs.
Local Airlines - You can fly to places throughout Nepal. They are regularly scheduled but expensive. ( Kathmandu to Pokhara rate US$ 108 + Airport Tax included)
