The Gyan Ganga School was established in July 2005. Its objective is to give standard education for the children of Chauthe. Most of the parents are very low income generator in this area. We are encouraging children and their parents to send children to school. Our school is trying to provide high quality boarding school's education in this area. Sponsorship also provided to some children. We also provide free School uniform to poor children. The School was founded by two young Ladies originally from the surrounding area, Sunita and Neera. Total cost cost was Rs 1000,000( 1 Million Nepalese Rupees ). The school is located at the Chauthe east of Pokhara valley. The school is close to the Vijayapur Khola, which is boarder of Leknath Nagar Palika. Chauthe is a small village with only few hundred populations. There is only one secondary government school. At the banning we had only 20 children but now we are taking care of 70 children. Each year children's are encouraging to co to school which is positive sign. We would like to give free education to all children in this area but every thinks cost money. If we found sponsor, we will provide free private school education to all our school children. 9 Teachers are working every day. Volunteer are welcome to help us to teach in our school.
